Canton of Zurich Directorate of Education Zurich General Vocational School Vice Rector / Vice Rector 100% With more than 2000 learners, ABZH is one of the larger vocational schools in the Canton of Zurich. Located in the immediate vicinity of Zurich Main Station, more than 100 teachers and a professional administration team are committed to providing a high-quality education and continuing education program. The position of Vice Rector is currently vacant and is therefore being publicly advertised for appointment effective September 1, 2027. Your responsibilities You support the Rectorate in all school-related matters and act as its deputy in the Rector's absence. You are part of the school leadership team and contribute to the success of ABZH and the successful implementation of its initiatives. For the Rector, you are the first point of contact and sounding board for questions relating both to school operations and strategy development. You yourself take on a small teaching load. You are an important link between the school leadership and the teaching staff. Your profile

• Completed degree (tertiary level A or B)
• Teaching qualification in ABZH's vocational field
• Management experience at department level at ABZH
• Enthusiasm and passion for personnel management and development
• Audience-appropriate communication with diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong conceptual skills (process development)
