Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Office for Computer Science Platform Engineer KI 80 - 100% The Office for Computer Science (AFI) is the computer science competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central computer infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the administration of justice and independent institutions. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers great potential to effectively support administration and provide its services to the population and businesses efficiently, securely and appropriately. At the same time, clear framework conditions, reliability and responsible handling of data, security and ethical issues are required. In the Canton of Zurich, we therefore promote the safe, responsible and value-adding use of AI. A central component is the AI service platform, on which, among other things, the basic AI services are operated. For this purpose, we are looking for AI specialists who will help shape the development and development of the AI service platform and the associated AI solutions. Your tasks
- Development, integration and operation of productive AI applications and models on the cantonal AI service platform
- Support of the responsible departments in the technical implementation and integration of AI use cases and participation in proofs of concept
- Ensuring stable, scalable, secure and economically operated operating processes for AI solutions
- Establishment and operation of standardized MLOps and deployment processes
- Development and documentation of technical standards and reusable components
- Advising the specialist areas on the technical implementation and integration of AI use cases Your profile
- University degree in computer science, comparable education or equivalent practical experience
- In-depth knowledge of MLOps, deployment and productive use of complex technical platforms
- Safety in dealing with architectural issues, technical operation and interface work.
- Clear, solution-oriented and addressable communication in German and English.
