The railway moves us – and we move the railway logistics of tomorrow.
Planzer already transports more than 60% of its shipments by rail and handles around 90,000 railway shipments annually in the CDS network.
From 2027, we will fundamentally redesign our railway network: a new transport network will be created at more than 20 stations throughout Switzerland.

Main responsibilities
- You will take over the end-to-end project management for the evaluation, procurement and implementation of the new Transport Management System (TMS) for our rail transports.
- You analyze and optimize existing processes together with the specialist departments and develop the future process and system target image.
- You develop business, process and system requirements and conduct tenders, provider evaluation and proof of concept.
- You design the order-to-cash processes from commissioning and planning to operational processing to billing, controlling and reporting.
- Interfaces and system integration are coordinated together with internal teams, partners and external implementation partners – from implementation to tests, training and migration to rollout.
- You control deadlines, budget, quality and risks and ensure a successful introduction to the Swiss rail network. Profile:
- You bring several years of experience in managing IT/digitalization projects in the transport, logistics or supply chain environment.
- Demonstrable experience with Rail Transport Management Systems (TMS) or comparable operational logistics systems as well as their implementation sets you apart.
- You have a very good understanding of end-to-end transport or order-to-cash processes;
- Experience in rail or intermodal transport is a plus.
