As a university clinic, we combine clinical expertise with research and teaching – in a working environment characterized by interdisciplinary cooperation, trust and personal responsibility. 40% - 60% For our innovative and nature-oriented offer "Sandgrueb Animal and Nature-Supported Therapy" in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy at the Egg location, we are looking for two committed personalities as Their tasks
- Implementation and targeted preparation and follow-up of the horse-assisted therapy units and experiential pedagogy in the stable including individual adaptation to patient needs
- Systematic observation and complete documentation of the behaviour, development and therapeutic progress of children and adolescents
- Professional training, targeted compensation work and ensuring the health of the therapy horses as well as preparation of the setting
- Coordination and organisation of the missions and holiday representatives of riding therapists/pedagogues to ensure seamless, smooth operation in close coordination with the daily life of the stable
- Training, balancing work and keeping the therapy horses healthy
- Regular professional exchange with the core team (station, fall management, school) as well as active support for accompanying scientific research (Messerli Foundation)
Your profile
- Completed training in equestrian education/equestrian therapy, Equine Assisted Learning or similar (e.g. SG-TR, PI-CH, Equi-Motion)
- Proof of in-depth experience in dealing with children and adolescents with mental illnesses in therapeutic setting
- Formation of a high level of relationship and communication competence
- Crisis resistance and great pleasure in the interdisciplinary teamwork in the middle of an active stable and therapy operation
- Independent and solution-oriented working method as well as high load capacity
- Willingness to actively participate in development processes
