Role overview
The Social Affairs Office is monitoring and initiating social developments in favour of children and young people, families, people in social problems, elderly people, people with a migrant background and people with disabilities, as well as organisations and institutions working for these target groups.
The Department of Age and Disability is responsible for shaping the age policy, including the municipalities and other key actors in the canton of St.Gallen.
We ensure the monitoring of the offers and promote integrated approaches.

- You are responsible for the performance and contribution management of facilities for people with disabilities and you are responsible for checking and coordinating applications for recognition
- You are responsible for individual service agreements and monitoring their implementation and achievement of objectives
- You are implementing procedures for granting company permits and performing supervision tasks for inpatient housing and day-to-day structures
- You are accompanying and coordinating recognition procedures for outpatient service providers
- You are actively involved in developing change projects in the area of disability policy What makes you special:
- You have a university or university degree, preferably in the areas of social, health, education, business, law or a similar subject area
- You have experience in project and change management
- You ideally have knowledge and practical experience in the area of the range of services for people with disabilities
