The Information department produces numerous offers for SRF audio, video and digital channels. With versatile news and background formats as well as classifying discussion and advisory programmes on current events in politics, business and society, SRF makes it easier for the audience to form opinions – informative, competent and independent.
What are your tasks?
The editorial staff «Arena» offers an internship from 8 February to 7 July 2027. We will gladly accept your application until 15 November 2026.
During your internship, you will be involved in the following areas:
- As an intern at the “Arena”, you are closely involved in shaping a discussion on current topics from politics, business and society.
- They write dossiers on current topics and draft press texts.
- They research facts and support the producer, the editors and the moderator in the production of the show.
- On Friday you will be present at the rehearsals and during the show live.
What do you bring?
- They have a great interest in journalism and preferably have initial journalistic experience.
- They bring a solid political background - especially to Swiss politics - and want to deepen their research.
- You can think quickly and networked.
- They are flexible and communicative and keep a cool head even in hectic situations.

- As an intern at the “Arena”, you immerse yourself in a political dossier every week and are very close to political events.
