Do you want to take on more responsibility in obstetrics and prenatal diagnosis and take the next career step? In a modern women’s clinic in German-speaking Switzerland, you expect a lot of room for manoeuvre, a stable team and the opportunity to actively shape women’s medicine. She expects an established women’s clinic in a modern focus hospital with around 1,000 births each year and a broad range of medical services. The clinic is particularly distinguished by its personnel continuity: The fluctuation is low and the long-standing cooperation is characterised by mutual trust. In this position, you take on the professional and organizational co-responsibility for prenatal diagnosis, obstetrics and the postpartum bed. You will further develop existing structures, contribute your expertise and work closely with paediatrics, neonatology and other specialist areas.

Their tasks

• Professional and organizational management as well as further development of prenatal diagnosis, obstetrics and postpartum
• Independent conduct of general and specialized consultation hours for prenatal diagnosis and high-risk pregnancies
• Care of complex obstetric cases and assumption of the background service of the Frauenklinik
• Supervision and professional promotion of senior and assistant doctors
• Leadership and further development of the assistant medical team including recruitment and training
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with neonatology, paediatrics and the emergency team

Your Competences

• Specialist title Gynecology and Obstetrics with profound experience in obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis and perinatal medicine
• Key heading and/or DEGUM II desired
• Enjoyment in the care of high-risk pregnancies and demanding prenatal diagnosis
• Leadership experience or motivation to take on additional leadership responsibility
• Strong teamwork, sense of responsibility and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
