Tasks
- You are responsible for an oncology consultation in the Zurich City Hospital with the locations Triemli and Waid.
- You are committed to providing our outpatient and inpatient patients with excellent professional and human care and are guided by recognized national and international guidelines as well as the latest state of knowledge.
- You take responsibility for oncological patients on the interdisciplinary ward as well as in the entire consultancy service (internal and external)
- You advise assigning doctors by phone and provide competent patient information
- You work closely with all disciplines of the Zurich City Hospital
- You actively participate in further education and training, oncological tumor boards and the conduct of clinical studies
- You participate in the haematological/oncological service
Profile
- a Swiss or a foreign state examination in human medicine recognised by MEBEKO as equivalent
- a federal or in Switzerland recognised as equivalent specialist title in medical oncology
- a solid basic training in internal medicine (at least 2 years)
- a high degree of motivation, flexibility and patient centeredness
- Joy in dealing with people, empathy and a strong team spirit
- Good knowledge of German in words and writing
