For geriatrics, we are looking for 1. January 2027 a committed and motivated person as an assistant physician / assistant physician geriatrics. This function offers versatile work across the spectrum of internal medicine with a focus on age medicine multimorbidity and polypharmacy. In addition, we offer the opportunity to participate in the broad training offer within the entire KSW.

Tasks

• Treatment of complex multimorbid patients on the acute care bed ward in the acute hospital in close cooperation with the cadre physicians and specialists
• Support of the nursing care team in the sense of a rotation in acute and transitional care in the nearby age center Adlergarten
• Working in the interprofessional team according to current geriatric standards under medical leadership
• Participation in the medical training programme

Profile

• Completed medical studies or medical diploma recognised in Switzerland by the Medical Profession Commission (MEBEKO)
• Experience in general internal medicine is beneficial
• Interest in complex geriatric issues and holistic patient treatment
• Enjoying interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
• Planned further training as a specialist in general internal medicine or planned further training as a focus in geriatrics (recognition Cat). A
