For the Early Autism Intervention Unit of the Social Pediatrics Center (SPZ) for Early Intensive Behavioral Interventions (FIBI), we are looking for a therapeutic staff member (ThMA) starting in January 2027. In an FIBI, each child receives targeted and individualized support for 15 hours per week. This intensive early intervention is based on the principles of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). The position is initially limited until the end of 2027. An extension and conversion to a permanent employment relationship will be considered.

Tasks

• You independently conduct support sessions according to professional guidance at the children’s place of residence, at the SPZ and/or in a playgroup/daycare center.
• You support parents in putting developmental and everyday goals into practice (parent training)
• You document the individual support data according to a predefined structure and prepare the support documentation for therapy team meetings.
• You participate in the biweekly 2.5-hour therapy team sessions per child at SPZ Winterthur
• You take on vacation cover for the other ThMA’s and additional administrative tasks to keep operations running.

Profile

• You have a basic education in psychology or education, e.g. a bachelor's degree in psychology, education or related disciplines, FaBe-K
• You have experience with toddlers
• You are inspiring, empathetic, resilient, organized and have a very quick grasp
• You have further training in autism, ABA, ESDM, PECS or are willing to complete them
• You are willing to travel to the various places of residence and funding (no fixed workplace). Therefore, your place of residence in the Winterthur region would be an advantage
• Your mother tongue is German. Swiss German is an advantage.
• You have a secure basic knowledge of Office
