Canton of Zurich Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs Prison and Reintegration Prison Pöschwies Laundry Directorate 80 - 100% With around 1,400 employees, JuWe is responsible for the execution of penalties and measures as well as for carrying out various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of delinquents and work effectively and progressively for a safe and just society. The Pöschwies Prison (JVA) is one of eight main departments of JuWe. With around 400 detention places, it is the largest closed prison in Switzerland for men who have committed crimes. It fulfils a central state task and contributes to the protection of the general public in accordance with the legal mandate and at the same time creates the conditions for the rehabilitation of the admitted persons. For our internal laundry, we are looking for a committed leader with pleasure in organization and working with people. Together with your team and the instructed persons, you ensure smooth operation and actively develop the laundry. Your tasks

• You organize and control the operation of the internal laundry and ensure smooth processes in day-to-day business
• Together with three employees, you will continue to lead and develop your team. You guide the assigned instructed persons professionally, accompany and promote them in everyday work
• You plan the daily operations and ensure compliance with quality, hygiene and safety standards
• You procure textiles, detergents and other operating materials according to your needs and keep an eye on economic and ecological aspects
• You ensure the operational readiness of the laundry facilities and machine park and coordinate their care, maintenance and maintenance
• With your eye for improvements, you continue to develop processes and processes and implement optimization and development projects.
• Completed training as a specialist Textilpflege EFZ or comparable vocational training and several years of professional and managerial experience
• An independent, structured and solution-oriented working method as well as the ability to maintain an overview even in demanding situations
• With your clear and respectful communication, you also appear sovereign in demanding situations
• Physical and psychological resilience, sense of responsibility and pleasure in working together in a team
• Very good knowledge of German in words and writing as well as a secure handling of the common Microsoft Office programs
