Head of Asylum Centre 100% (m/f/d)

Caritas Switzerland has been running asylum centres for families, individuals and unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (MNA) at several locations in the Canton of Zurich on behalf of the Cantonal Social Office (KSA) since March 2024. As a result of a follow-up, we are looking for a dedicated and responsible centre management for an MNA centre.

Their tasks

• Implementation of the service mandate of the Cantonal Social Office Zurich (KSA) on the basis of the individual contract of the location and framework contract for MNA residential groups as well as other regulations
• Responsibility for the accommodation, care, integration and security of minor asylum seekers (MNA)
• Overall responsibility for personnel planning, personnel management and personnel development
• Financial responsibility for budgets and cost centres as well as for administrative processes and economic use of resources
• Responsibility for the quality of support, order processing and documentation as well as for the implementation of work processes and structural adjustments
• Responsibility for the step-by-step sharing of information and ensuring internal and external communication
• Cooperation with the canton, assistance and other partnerships, central department management and other MNA locations
• University or university degree in social sector / business administration or comparable
• Further education in business administration and management of NPO
• Several years of socio-pedagogical work experience in the supervision of MNA and expertise in the asylum and migration sector
• Designated personnel management experience
• Experience in cooperation with authorities and partnerships
• Initiative, independence, assertiveness and decision-making
