Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Career Advice Social Worker in kjz Dübendorf, 80% Good for life – that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as professional counselling. Our work focuses on children, young people and families. We work for them every day with a lot of heart and commitment. The kjz (Child and Youth Assistance Centre) is a polyvalent counselling centre for families, parents, adolescents, children and toddlers and works on the basis of the Children and Youth Assistance Act of the Canton of Zurich. Do you want to engage in the welfare of children and young people? Then you will be a social worker (80%) by 1. November 2026 or by arrangement part of our team. They advise and accompany children, adolescents and guardians within the framework of child protection measures and on a voluntary basis. In addition, you carry out clarifications in the case of child welfare on behalf of KESB. In fulfilling your tasks, you work closely with authorities, schools, other institutions and specialist bodies. They bring with them:

• Completed social work training at a technical college or equivalent
• Experience in youth and family assistance and in mandate management
• a negotiable, goal-oriented and assertive personality
• high social competence and very good written and oral expression skills
