Applications must be submitted in writing with an application letter, a short curriculum vitae and a recently issued (not older than one year) penal and enforcement record.

The coercive measures court (ZMG) grants for the entire canton at the request of the public prosecutor’s office, the juvenile justice or the juvenile justice, the police, the court authorities of first instance, the Office for Prison and Probation Assistance or the Office for Population and Migration particularly drastic coercive measures in the field of criminal and administrative law. It shall make its decisions through a single judge.

• Lawyer's patent, licence or master's degree and sufficient practical knowledge for the performance of the office

• 60% position requiring high availability to ensure on-call time

• Voting rights in cantonal matters. Foreign nationals must hold a residence permit and have been resident in the canton for at least five years. There shall be no loss certificates against the persons. They must not have been convicted of acts incompatible with the judicial office

• Master of the German and French languages. The selected person must process dossiers in both languages
