Applications must be submitted in writing with an application letter, a short curriculum vitae and a recently issued (not older than one year) penal and enforcement record.

The expropriation commission decides on all valuation questions which are not transferred to another authority by the law on expropriation, as well as on claims for compensation for material expropriation. It also exercises the powers which other provisions of cantonal law expressly or mutatis mutandis assign to the expropriation judge – for example the claim for compensation of an owner vis-à-vis his neighbour, in application of the spatial planning and building law.

• The Judiciary Council is looking for a Vice-President or a vice-president with attorney’s patent, license or master’s degree in rights or experience in jurisdiction with knowledge of Freiburg administrative law, in particular in the field of construction and spatial planning (planning). Some availability for sessions and text writing is required. It is a part-time job (about 10%), which is carried out at irregular intervals.

• Voting rights in cantonal matters. Foreign nationals must hold a residence permit and have been resident in the canton for at least five years. There must be no loss certificates against the person. You must not have been convicted for acts incompatible with the judicial office

• Mastering the German language with very good knowledge of the French language
