The Labor Inspectorate is committed to safe and healthy working conditions in the Canton of Zurich. We support companies in the implementation of labour law regulations and make an important contribution to the protection of employees with advice, control and prevention. For our “Occupational Safety and Health Protection” teams, we are looking for two inspectors as of 1 October 2026 and 1 January 2027. Their tasks:

• Independent preparation, implementation and documentation of ASA checks, working time checks, construction acceptances and other company visits directly on site with our customers
• Preparation of confirmation letters, visit reports in commercial, commercial and service companies of the Canton of Zurich
• Processing and follow-up of employee complaints about working time violations or violations of working conditions
• Active cooperation with internal and external bodies Your profile:
• Completed technical/craft vocational apprenticeship and higher vocational training (Federal certificate or Federal Dipl. HF)
• Many years of professional experience (ideally in the areas of occupational safety/ergonomics and health protection)
• ASGS specialist or readiness for training
• Oral and written stylish expression in German, further knowledge of foreign languages beneficial
• Organizational talent with an accurate and efficient working method and pleasure in a job with a high proportion of field service (at least 60 %)
• Safe and specific occurrence, high resilience and assertiveness
