The Grains, Oilseeds, Feed business unit of the fenaco cooperative is the most competent and efficient partner in Switzerland for the trade of raw products for food and animal feed production. To strengthen our organic trading team, we are looking for a distributor of organic raw materials at the Winterthur or Kiefersfelden (Germany) location with immediate effect or by appointment. In this versatile trading function, you will take responsibility for the procurement and marketing of organic grain, organic oilseeds and animal feed with a focus on foreign products.

These tasks inspire you

• Active support and further development of customer relationships in the European market
• Acquisition and maintenance of suppliers and business partners in Switzerland and Europe
• Procurement and sale of the allocated organic raw materials as well as marketing of the Swiss organic harvest from the MAXI system
• Market observation, analysis of supply and demand as well as identification of new market opportunities
• Responsibility for revenue, margin and earnings (P&L) within the allocated portfolio
• Conducting sales and price negotiations
• Quantity, sales and sales planning
• Recording and management of purchase and sales contracts as well as cooperation with processing
• Participation in projects and working groups around the organic market

We are looking forward to this profile

• Training and/or corresponding further education in the agricultural, food or retail environment
• Several years of experience in trading, purchasing, selling or marketing agricultural commodities
• Sound knowledge of organic farming and its market structures
• Existing and resilient network of producers, industry organisations or processors
• Strong negotiation skills as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good knowledge of German as well as good French and English skills
• Experience in contract trading as well as knowledge of Incoterms and trading practices
