Canton of Zurich Prison and reintegration intern: in social work 80% The Probation and Enforcement Services (BVD) are one of eight main departments of JuWe and are responsible for the execution of prison sentences and court-ordered measures as well as for probation assistance. They make an important contribution to crime prevention and the social integration of people who commit crimes. The Probation Assistance Unit of Prison 1 is responsible for probation assistance after conditional release and for transitional management before release. Its tasks also include the control of instructions within the framework of probation assistance as well as tort-preventive social counselling during the alternative prison system as well as the support of outpatient treatment without delay. As of February 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a committed, team-capable and responsible person for a 6-month internship in social work for the BWH V1 department. This is your field of action

• You support those responsible for the case in fulfilling the order, in particular in taking over partial tasks such as advising and empowering the clients: with the aim of reducing recidivism. This includes organizing suitable therapy sites, formulating treatment goals as well as checking the achievement of goals, monitoring instructions and carrying out probation assistance in accordance with the risk-oriented execution of sanctions (ROS). In addition, you write reports and submit applications to the decree.
• You support our clients: within the framework of the material assistance and contact placement in the areas of work, housing, finance and social insurance. You work in an interdisciplinary manner as well as with external bodies such as therapy persons, authorities, courts and social services.
• You will perform administrative tasks such as general correspondence and file management.

• You are in an advanced study of social work (FH/HF) and are interested in forensic psychiatry/psychology, criminology and working with people who have become delinquent.
• You're drawing You are characterized by networked and goal-oriented thinking, independent and precise work, strong organizational skills and a high psychological resilience.
• Ideally, bring You have initial administrative experience, have good PC user knowledge and can express yourself very well in German. Further language skills are advantageous.
• You are a responsible and well-established personality, at least 25 years old and have an impeccable reputation (no entries in the criminal record and in the enforcement record). This makes this place special
