Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Office for Informatics Infrastructure Manager/-in Workplace Delivery 80 - 100% The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the computer science competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central computer infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the administration of justice and independent institutions. In charge of implementing the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Office for Informatics accompanies and supports the Canton of Zurich in the digital world. In the Workplace Delivery team, we design and control services around the digital workplace. At the interface with workplace engineering, service management, architecture, security and external partners, we ensure that technical solutions are sustainable, secure, economical and reliable in the long term. For this key role, we are looking for a personality who understands technology, arranges connections and takes responsibility for the entire lifecycle. Your tasks:

• Overall technical responsibility for the assigned workplace technologies as well as further development along the entire lifecycle
• Acceptance and translation of customer requirements and development of viable solutions from technological developments as well as security and architecture specifications
• Planning and coordination of changes, releases and maintenance as well as implementation with the Workplace Engineering team and external service providers
• Control and responsibility for problem management, capacities, risks and licenses as well as coordination of all participating departments
• Ensuring compliance with the agreed SLA and OLA as well as support in the 2nd and 3rd levels
• Evaluation of technical solutions as well as close cooperation with service owners, external service providers and customer management
• Positioning of your department for internal and external contacts Your profile:
• Completed studies in computer science or equivalent education and training
• Several years of experience in technical responsibility for digital workplace, client, endpoint or comparable infrastructure services in a complex environment
• In-depth understanding of modern workplace technologies, operational and security requirements as well as on-prem, cloud and hybrid solutions
• Practice in Lifecycle, Change, Problem and Service Management
• The ability to structure technical issues, assess impacts on the overall system and make informed decisions
• Confident communication in German and good language skills in English
• You act independently, remain solution-oriented for different interests and convince through clarity, commitment and cooperation at eye level What we offer you:
