Tasks

The Schulthess Clinic is characterized by the best possible care standards. As a nurse, you ensure the professional implementation of these standards in everyday care and ensure high-quality care and care of our patients before and after surgical procedures. You will maintain an open and appreciative communication with patients, relatives and the interdisciplinary treatment teams.

In addition to your work in direct care, after the familiarization and probationary period, you will have the opportunity to gradually assume specialist responsibility at station level. In this role, you actively contribute to the professional development of care, are in close contact with the departmental management of the station and the departmental management of care development and take on the following tasks, among other things:

• Promote and develop the best possible care for patients and their relatives according to the current state of knowledge
• Supporting the care team in implementing the care process and ensuring effective and sustainable care
• Professional and methodological guidance and coaching of employees in relation to care, advice and education
• Responsible for ensuring and optimizing the quality of care and implementing innovations
• Commitment and active participation in the care development committee
• Creating and revising nursing policies and concepts
• Design and implementation of internal training events

Requirements

Ideally, you will bring a degree as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a completed and recognized diploma at tertiary level in Switzerland. Open-mindedness, innovative thinking, flexibility as well as commitment and resilience distinguish you as well as your profound clinical and theoretical care knowledge and your patient orientation. You have high social skills and understand through your communication ability to inspire the team for further development in care. Independent and responsible action is one of your skills such as empathy and teamwork. Your very good IT knowledge (MS Office/KIS) is easy to use. Several years of professional experience as well as expertise in the field of acute care and orthopaedics is an advantage.
