Application process

  • Instrumentation & Field Engineering: Question the instrumentation selected by the specialist planner and work out the most optimal solution for the respective application within the team IT/OT
  • Ensuring compliance with global Givaudan IT/OT standards in the ongoing project
  • Creation and execution of an automation concept taking into account all internal and legal requirements and involving all stakeholders requirements.
  • Accompanying the commissioning of measuring and control instruments in the process environment. Your professional profile
  • Completed studies (uni/FH) specialization Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
  • Knowledge in process engineering or industrial process plants is advantageous.
  • Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Project Engineer in industrial plant engineering / project engineer / field engineer (preferably food, chemical or pharmaceutical industries).
  • Automation & Safety: Demonstrable practice in the creation/extension of MSRL lists, instrument selection and knowledge in handling process safety data (SIL, Performance Level).

  • MSRL & Automation Technology: Creation, revision and extension of MSRL lists, functional descriptions and cause & effect diagrams
  • Assembly & commissioning: Planning and management of activities on site, coordination of installations and accompaniment/coordination/implementation of commissionings at the process plants.
  • Coordination and support of internal and external trades Reading and interpreting electric schemes
  • Instrumentation & Field Engineering: Question the instrumentation selected by the specialist planner and work out the most optimal solution for the respective application within the team
