- In this role you will be a core member of the HR Operational Services Team, based in Baden.
- You will be responsible for delivering HR Service support to the HR community, business managers and employees.
- Being part of a motivated and dedicated team of HR Services & Payroll Specialists, you will support in different topics in the area of Payroll, Compensation, Benefits as well as Time & Absence. The work model for the role is: hybrid
- This role is contributing to the human resources in Switzerland.
- Main stakeholders are HRBPs, HR Service Specialist, Employees, Compensation office, insurance companies. You will be mainly accountable for:
- You will deliver HR services and payroll support to HR, line managers, and employees, ensuring clear communication of policies related to Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Time & Absence.
- You will process HR inquiries, prepare reports for external authorities, and ensure data quality and accuracy in all systems and databases.
- You will contribute to annual processes such as tax statements collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will ensure adherence to risk and control standards, identify opportunities for process improvements, and live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity. Our team dynamics
Key requirements

- You hold a commercial degree with additional education in HR or Payroll
- You bring 3-5 years work experience in a similar role within Payroll or HR Operations and possess knowledge of Swiss tax and social security laws, including AHV, IV, EO, BVG, and UVG.
- You are customer-oriented, reliable, and accurate in your work, with strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote) is required, and experience with Workday and/or SAP HCM is highly desirable.
- Fluency in German and English is essential, with French and/or Italian language skills considered an additional asset.
