Tasks
- You will lead the research department strategically and operationally and take responsibility for the professional and human leadership of your team.
- You will develop a forward-looking research and publication strategy and effective research management in close cooperation with universities and many other network partners.
- Together with the head of the department, you will contribute to the establishment and establishment of Baselland Archaeology as a competence centre and research hub.

- You actively support the ongoing change process in the Department of Archaeology Baselland and contribute your professional research perspective to the further development of the organization and processes and structures.
Requirements
- You have a completed doctorate in archaeology with proven research activity and a well-founded publication portfolio (including peer-reviewed articles).
- You have already demonstrated your strong competence in the evaluation of findings and findings as well as the safe use of digital tools, especially GIS and databases, in your previous tasks.
