We are looking for 1. December 2026 an empathetic and experienced leader for our kitchen team in the health center for the Alter Herzogenmühle.
Tasks
- They bear the overall responsibility for a high-quality, safe and economically managed kitchen operation that functions smoothly seven days a week.
- You are responsible for the menu design, planning, calculation and implementation of a varied, seasonal offer.
- They develop a varied culinary offer – from classical and traditional cuisine to full-fledged vegetarian dishes and modern aperitifs – and thus inspire both our residents and the employees and external guests of our public restaurant.
- You create deployment plans for the 7-member kitchen team (including learners), carry out regular success checks, employee interviews and assessments and promote and challenge your employees to personal responsibility and self-employment.
- They regularly conduct team meetings, provide training for the kitchen team and train learners.
Profile
- Team player with comprehensive leadership experience and high reflective ability
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary cooperation, flexibility and high sensitivity for people and situations
- Completed vocational apprenticeship as a cook EFZ and additional training as a head cook with a federal vocational examination or equivalent further education
- Creativity and passion for fresh, seasonal, full and regional cuisine
- Very good knowledge of German in words and writing as well as excellent communication skills
