The rental department of the Zurich School Office is looking for 1. April 2027 or by arrangement a management group house
Tasks
- You manage the Group House and, if necessary, take over the personnel management of the Group House Assistant.
- They look after the guests and are responsible for the preparation of food and the purchase of food.
- They do general home maintenance, cleaning and lingerie work.
- They maintain the environment and monitor building maintenance.
- In this versatile role, you ensure smooth administrative processes including timely auditing of the school office and form the communicative interface to the real estate city of Zurich, local authorities, craftsmen and guests on site.
Profile
- Completed vocational apprenticeship EFZ, preferably as a cook.
- professional training at the level of hospitality, housekeeping or facility management; leadership training is advantageous.
- Experience in gastronomy or housekeeping, especially in the areas of planning, purchasing and hygiene and food safety.
- Category B driving licence.
- High social competence and resilience, strong organizational skills and craftsmanship as well as pleasure in dealing with students and teachers.

The job offers attractive working hours from Monday to Friday, usually during the day and no later than 8 p.m. Weekend bets are only exceptional. If interested, the position can be combined with an additional function as an assistant group house management (30 to 60%). However, this additional function is not a prerequisite for the post.
About us
The School and Sports Department of the City of Zurich runs six group houses in different regions of Switzerland. The group house Chasa Plans in Lavin with 34 sleeping places is located in beautiful Engadin and is available for class camps from January to December.
