  • A major longevity portfolio covering the UK, with growing exposure in other regions ( Netherlands, Canda, US, Singapore)
  • The Americas FRT portfolio including a significant protection book.
  • The team currently comprises 10 colleagues located in the UK and US with plans to grow in line with Swiss Re’s strategic ambitions to grow L&H Transactions earnings. About You
  • You are a senior actuarial leader with the credibility to engage at executive level and the hands‑on understanding required to lead a technically complex global portfolio.
  • You combine strong judgement with a structured mindset, and you are comfortable making decisions in areas of uncertainty and long‑term risk.
  • You have a proven ability manage complex projects, connect actuarial outputs to business outcomes, to lead teams through change, and to take ownership of both delivery and strategic improvement. Essentials
  • Qualified actuary with substantial life insurance, pensions and/or reinsurance experience.
  • Strong experience in longevity risk transactions.
  • Experience with complex Full Risk Transfer transactions, such as closed books, VIF transactions or Loss Portfolio Transfers.

  • Contribute directly to the onboarding and monitoring of selected FRT transactions where required.
