Main responsibilities

• You lead and develop the Plastic Solutions team and assume the technical and disciplinary responsibility for our operational and strategic buyers.
• You will develop and implement a competitive, innovative and sustainable procurement strategy for plastic parts, assemblies and modules, ensuring cost, quality and delivery performance across all locations.
• You are responsible for strategic supplier management – from negotiations and contract conclusions to evaluation and the continuous development of our international suppliers.
• You lead and prioritize sourcing and cross-divisional assortment projects and bring them to a successful conclusion.
• You take over the escalation management of critical supplier or quality issues and develop pragmatic and sustainable solutions.
• You are responsible for controlling and reporting and work closely with the areas of innovation and quality to transform new ideas into efficient and sustainable supply chains.

Required expertise

• You have a basic technical or commercial training and have ideally trained in mechanical engineering, business administration or purchasing (BSc, MAS supply chain, operations or similar).
• You bring several years of experience in technical purchasing – ideally in an international environment.
• You have in-depth know-how in plastic technologies, especially in injection molding and automation solutions.
• You think strategically and entrepreneurially, act solution-oriented and keep an overview even in a dynamic environment
• You convince through leadership, high social skills, negotiating skills and an open, communicative way.
• You move You are safe in international and intercultural contexts and have very good knowledge of German and English
• You work routinely with SAP S/4HANA, especially in the module MM, and bring a travel readiness of around 10%.
