Fertile soils are the basis for healthy food, clean drinking water and ecological diversity for future generations. Do you want to play a central role in the protection of our soils and maintain and provide soil information about soil mapping, soil function assessments and soil pollutants with us? • You coordinate the technical GIS and database tasks in the soil information section and expand them further
• You work in current GIS projects around the collection, management and provision of soil information or plan and lead your own projects
• You are responsible for the data management (archive) and its further development or Processing
• You take over the strategic and personnel management of the section and work with your profile in the management team of FaBo
• You have completed FH/uni studies with soil alignment or in a related field
• You have several years of professional experience in the GIS and database environment and ideally knowledge of Python and ArcGIS Enterprise
• You enjoy leadership tasks and are happy to take responsibility for yourself and your team
• You think customer-oriented and communicate clearly
• You work in a structured, forward-looking way and also keep an overview of parallel complex projects that the specialist centre for soil protection (FaBo) combines in-depth expertise with effective, practical implementation.
