Canton Zurich Tax Office Business Analyst/-in 80 - 100% Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office together with the municipal tax offices collects taxes for the federal government, the canton and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are involved in this process at the site in Zurich Altstetten. We are looking for an motivated business analyst from now on or by agreement.

In this challenging position, you will play an important role in the project and portfolio management team at the Cantonal Tax Office. The function is characterized by exciting tasks and complex challenges with different stakeholders. Your tasks

• You primarily focus on the strategic major project for the renewal of our application landscape and accompany the departments methodically in this forward-looking transformation.
• You will take up the requirements for the new systems, identify weaknesses in the previous processes and make suggestions for improvement.
• You will closely accompany stakeholders throughout the entire process of demand assessment, establish the business case safely, define acceptance criteria for the project, carry out tests and organise user training if necessary.
• You will also advise the clients on organisational optimization and cost-effectiveness in the context of this system replacement.
• Depending on the project phase, you will be responsible for managing work packages within this transformation program. Your profile
• You have proven experience as a business analyst – ideally in the context of IT-modernization – and have tax expertise in the best case.
• You will also be able to provide a higher level of training in business analysis, business administration or comparable qualifications. You can critically examine, classify and use complex requirements of various stakeholders to optimally align the new IT support, processes and structures.
• Certifications in HERMES and/or IREB certifications are advantageous.
• You can structure project tasks perfectly, systematically tackle them and complete them on time.
• You are empathetic, communication-strong and feel comfortable in your role as a central contact person for your stakeholders in the project. We offer
