On behalf of the criminal investigation authorities, the Institute of Forensic Medicine examines living and deceased people from a forensic point of view. In any case, to provide clarity – that is what we have set ourselves the goal. Become part of it! We are looking for a specialist immediately or by agreement: in Accounting & Controlling (80 - 100%), temporary

Tasks

In this versatile function, you take responsibility for central tasks in accounting and support the further development of our controlling. They work closely with the team management of Accounting & Controlling and make a significant contribution to ensuring the financial transparency and quality of our processes. Accounting

• Responsibility for accounts receivable, including processing of incoming payments, accounts receivable, dunning and recovery management
• Creation and control of billing and processing of master and interface data
• Collaboration in monthly, quarterly and annual accounts (Abacus and SAP)
• Preparation of invoices, payment orders and payment notifications
• Support in expense management
• Deputy colleagues within the finance team

Controlling and reporting

• Preparation of reporting, evaluations and financial key figures
• Analysis of material costs, cost centres and operating expenses
• Support for budget, forecast and planning processes
• Carrying out cost and income analyses
• Preparation of decision-making basis for team management and management

Processes and further development

• Participation in the optimization and digitalization of financial processes
• Creation and maintenance of process and QM documentation
• Support for cross-cutting projects
• Advising internal stakeholders on financially relevant issues
• Participation in ensuring compliance, accounting and internal policies

Profile

• Basic commercial training with further training in finance and accounting or comparable qualifications
• Several years of broad experience in finance and accounting
• Experience in controlling, reporting and data analysis
• Excel knowledge of the evaluation and analysis of large amounts of data
• Experience with SAP, Abacus or comparable ERP systems
• Independent, communication-strong and service-oriented personality
• Very good knowledge of German, English skills are advantageous
