The Office of Labour (AFA) strengthens Zurich as a business and work location – with around 800 employees at over 20 locations. In the Department of Unemployment Insurance (ALV / KAST), we ensure that the Federal Act on Compulsory Unemployment Insurance and Insolvency Compensation is implemented uniformly and fairly in the Canton of Zurich. Your tasks:

• Independent processing of pre-declarations of short-time work as well as requests for waiver of recovery of short-time work allowances
• Independent handling of bad weather reports
• independent processing of multiple insurance cases (sanctions & orders regarding entitlement) based on the corresponding legal basis
• Writing of speechable orders
• Obtaining the relevant documents and conducting surveys of insured persons and employers
• Contact with insured persons, employers, unemployment funds, regional employment centres (RAV) and other internal and external bodies
• Care of the KAE hotline Your profile:
• completed 3-year commercial basic training or equivalent training
• at least three years of professional experience in a qualified, materially oriented (social) insurance environment
• Completed further training in the field of social security
• Very experienced user knowledge in the MS-Office
• stilsicher (verbal as in writing) in the German language
• Adaptive treatment of various stakeholders
