Every day, the Office of Labour (AFA) of the Canton of Zurich works to ensure that people regain their jobs, that companies find the right talents and that the labour market in the Canton of Zurich remains strong. You work where your commitment really counts. How do we combine service and efficiency in everyday life? We ensure that insurance benefits from the cantonal unemployment fund are paid out correctly and on time. We are there when it matters: we check claims, calculate unemployment insurance benefits and pay them out. Reliable, competent and with real understanding for the people behind the dossiers. In order to strengthen the existing Unemployment Compensation Team (ALE), we are looking for a committed specialist who, after an instructive and intensive training phase, is ready to develop into a specialist 2 and to take on his own dossier. The place of work is located in the Leonardo Zurich Nord commercial building. Your tasks:

• You check benefits claims and calculate unemployment compensation reliably and carefully
• You create first-instance orders and ensure that payouts are correct and timely
• You ensure that the AVIG is legally implemented
• You answer telephone and written inquiries of our customers competently and understandably and advise all stakeholders service-oriented and professional
• After your training, you take over your own dossier and work independently on your profile:
• You have completed a 3-year basic commercial education or an equivalent CV education, as well as initial experience in qualified processing of a private or social insurance
• Further education in the field of social insurance is an advantage – or you want to develop further in this field
• You work process-oriented, efficient, like to make decisions and have a strong flair for numbers
• Teamwork makes you happy - you are curious, interested in legal issues and open to new ideas
• You have very good oral and written knowledge of German We offer:
