Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Cantonal School Rychenberg Specialist School Social Work 55% The Cantonal School Rychenberg Winterthur is a long-school school with old- and modern-language profiles and the profile PPP, a bilingual school course German / English and a specialised school with the profiles Pedagogy and Communication and Information. As of 1 November 2026 or by agreement, a position as a specialist in school social work must be filled 55%. As a specialist in school social work, you advise middle school students on personal, social and school challenges. They promote their integration into the classroom and support school management and teachers in identifying psychosocial problems and initiating early interventions. You contribute your expertise in order to positively shape the participation opportunities and community formation at our school. In the school social work team of two, you and other specialists will further expand our technically sound and needs-based advice and support offer. You are a committed personality who brings professional experience in school social work or counselling experience from the youth sector. They are interested in the age-typical developmental tasks and associated aspects of mental health. With your solution-oriented systemic attitude you can mediate well between different concerns. They have an independent, structured way of working and look forward to working together in a team. Your communication strength, teamwork and resilience benefit you both in dealing with the various stakeholders and in dealing with crises. Formal requirement for an application is a bachelor's degree in social work, combined with corresponding professional experience or further education in school social work (CAS). Our offer
