For our clinic for hand and plastic surgery we are looking for 1. October 2026 a specialist / specialist for hand surgery (Switzerland) or a surgical specialist / specialist with additional designation hand surgery as senior physician / senior physician. As a European accredited FESSH Hand Trauma and Replantation Center, our team covers the full range of hand surgery care, including replants. The management of the clinic currently consists of a clinic director / chief physician, a deputy chief physician plastic surgery and a deputy chief physician hand surgery / head of hand surgery. The hand surgery team consists of 3 senior physicians and 2 training assistants. Together with the plastic surgery team, she also has a rotation assistant and 5 clinical specialists.

Tasks

• You participate in the hand and plastic surgical on-call services in the team
• In addition, you make an important further education contribution and supervise our assistant doctors during operations and consultation hours as well as during internal further education events.
• Furthermore, you will develop a special field within hand surgery for yourself and for the clinic.

Profile

• You have completed training as a specialist for hand surgery or are about to obtain it or have the specialist title for plastic surgery or orthopaedics/traumatology and have a pronounced hand surgery interest and corresponding additional designation
• You have appropriate experience in the entire hand surgical field, including replantation and cover the requirements and tasks of a senior physician or would like to take care of these with increasing experience and suitability in a perspective with appropriate promotion opportunities.
• You are capable of teamwork, open to new challenges and have a high sense of responsibility
• The willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation and the interest in further education is a matter of course for you
