Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Financial Management Expert/in Group Controlling 80 - 100% The financial administration arranges the finances of the Canton of Zurich and provides an overall overview. On behalf of the Government Council, it draws up the budget with financial plan and the bill of the canton. It prepares financial decisions of the Government Council, ensures efficient accounting and provides appropriate services for the entire administration. The Financial Budget Control Department, which will be reconstituted on 1 January 2027, will develop the canton’s budget, financial planning and financial reporting. She leads cross-directoral projects for the further development of financial processes and systems and leads the LEA (performance recording with expense certificate) department of the canton. For the further development of the Group-wide controlling processes and systems, as well as for its practical implementation, we are looking for an experienced, team-capable, service-oriented and motivated scientific employee / in 80%-100%. Their tasks

• Assuming the process responsibility of the cantonal controlling processes for the further development, especially harmonization and automation, of financial planning processes
• Advising other administrative units in the design of controlling processes, taking over the project management resp. Participation in interdisciplinary project teams
• Close cooperation with the professional and technical application manager SAP CO in projects in the controlling area
• Participation in the preparation of the canton’s financial plan (consolidated development and financial plan) including support for SAP applications
• Preparation of various chapters of the annual report (e.g. "Finances at a glance")
• Answering specific questions about the state budget based on evaluations, in particular from SAP or Businesswarehouse (BW)
• Preparation of information for the financial director
• Preparation of applications to the Government Council regarding the financial planning of the Canton
• University or university of applied sciences degree at master level (business or economics) as well as several years of proven relevant professional experience in corporate controlling
• In-depth know-how in the SAP and Businesswarehouse environment, SAC an advantage
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, a precise working method and strong editorial skills, with which you can present complicated issues in easy-to-understand language
• Solution-oriented cooperation with other administrative units
