Canton of Zurich Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs Prison and reintegration Prison Pöschwies Milieutherapeut/in FPA 80 - 100% With around 1400 employees, JuWe is the largest office within the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs and responsible for the execution of penalties and measures as well as for the execution of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of delinquents and work effectively and progressively for a safe and just society. The Pöschwies Prison (JVA) is one of eight main departments of JuWe and the largest closed facility for men in Switzerland. With around 400 detention places and around 300 employees, it contributes to the protection of the general public in accordance with its legal mandate and at the same time creates the conditions for the rehabilitation of the detained persons. In the field of Inpatient Adult Forensics, a multidisciplinary treatment team of around 25 members provides clients with court-ordered inpatient measures of kind. 59 StGB. The tort-preventive psychotherapeutic treatment is embedded in a milieutherapeutic setting in the forensic-psychiatric department in the JVA Pöschwies. To strengthen our treatment team, we are looking for 01. January 2027 or by agreement a motivated milieu therapist. Your tasks

• Reference work with treatment planning and support of a prosocial and treatment-promoting environment
• Development and implementation of individual case-related milieutherapeutic treatment measures taking into account the psychological and physical resources of the intervention clients
• Participation in the securing and further development of reliable executive-organizational and safety-relevant processes at the FPA (e.g. securing hygiene, food, laundry change, sickness reports and postal services)
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of accompanied therapeutic exits and holidays with the patient
• Active interdisciplinary cooperation and networking with the entire treatment team of StEF, the working partners of JVA Pöschwies and the probation and enforcement services Your profile
• You have a completed vocational apprenticeship with a Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ), (specialist) maturity, a specialised secondary school card or an equivalent degree
• Ideally, you will bring experience in the prison system, especially in the areas of care or work/employment
