As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Guidance with its approximately 1,300 employees is responsible for offerings in the area of ​​child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. We are looking for a new manager for HR in the office, which will be newly organized centrally from next year, as of March 1, 2027 or by agreement. Your area of ​​responsibility HR at AJB is in an exciting development phase. In connection with the reorganization of the office, HR at all locations in the canton of Zurich will be centralized in Zurich with around 15 employees. As a manager, you shape and are responsible for the strategic, technical and organizational orientation of HR across the entire AJB and in this role you are a member of the office's management. In doing so, you ensure effective, uniform and quality-assured service provision across all HR functions. They promote and further shape personnel and organizational development in a targeted manner and create important prerequisites for a modern leadership and learning culture. The function is embedded in a cantonal HR organization and has interfaces to the General Secretariat of the Directorate of Education as the appointing authority and to the cantonal human resources office. You will take on a key role in the reorganization of the office and advise the management and the responsible department heads.

• Your profile For this role you have a university degree with qualified further training in HR management or equivalent training and have several years of experience in a comparable role. You have a good understanding of the processes in public administration, think both strategically and pragmatically and are characterized by strong advisory skills and negotiation skills. Her way of working is careful, cooperative and service-oriented. You have solid presentation skills and clear, appropriate communication and work independently and responsibly. You are used to actively and carefully designing and accompanying change processes. You enjoy working with different stakeholders and networking with people is easy.
