Job opening by agreement

The ITSL is the competence center of the University of Zurich for interdisciplinary research on questions of the interactions between information technology, society and law.

Tasks

The ITSL offers you the opportunity to explore complex questions of the highest social relevance and topicality. Together with other researchers, you will investigate central questions of the digital society within the framework of ongoing and future research projects. The position covers various tasks with a focus on research. These include:

• Collaboration, management and development of research projects
• Writing of scientific publications and presentations
• Cooperation in the preparation of opinions and scientific studies
• Teaching courses

In addition to the mentioned tasks, you will be supported in your own research, especially in the development of a habilitation project.

Profile

• Very good master’s degree in law, ideally from a Swiss university
• Very good dissertation
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Self-employed, efficient and exact working methods
• Particular interest in information and communication law issues
• Willingness and joy to become involved in new topics and tackle complex issues in teams
• Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation
