Canton of Zurich Directorate of Justice and Interior Prison Imprisonment and Reintegration HF 80
100% Prison Imprisonment and Reintegration (JuWe), as part of the Directorate of Justice and Interior of the Canton of Zurich, is responsible for the execution of penalties and measures as well as the implementation of the various types of detention.
For our 1,400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of people who have committed crimes and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance.

- point for medical issues and emergencies as well as for the training of employees in health-related matters
- Co-responsibility for material and drug management as well as the management of the pharmacy

- Take over early services from Monday-Friday in the health service to ensure continuous care.
- Weekend and holiday services are divided in the team and fall every four to five weeks.
