For different school circles in the city of Zurich, we are looking for motivated speech pedagogues to strengthen our team.
Tasks
- They carry out clarifications and determine the need for therapy of students with language, speech and communication problems with and without special school status.
- They perform logopaedic therapies in individual and group settings.
- They offer integrative logopaedic support offers and specialist advice.
- They offer advice and cooperation with the caregivers of the therapy children such as parents / guardians, teachers and specialists.
- They are committed to networking speech pedia at the school.
Profile
- EDK-recognised diploma in speech therapy or willingness to obtain EDK recognition for a foreign diploma; alternatively a diploma as an academic language therapist
- Joy and commitment in dealing with students with special needs and from different cultures
- Self-responsible and impact-oriented working methods as well as enjoyment of collegial exchange
- Willingness to keep your own expertise always up-to-date
- Secure use of digital tools for managing administrative tasks

About us
As part of the Special Pedagogy Service Department, the Zurich Department of Speech Pedagogy offers preventive and therapeutic measures with around 150 speech pedagogues for pupils with language, speech and communication problems. These offers are available to children and young people of all grades. The city of Zurich’s speech teachers work either at a regular school with pupils with and without special school status (ISR) or at locations of the curative school with pupils in separate school settings.
