Canton of Zurich Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs General Secretariat Project Coordinator: Construction & Logistics (limited to 3 years) 80 - 100% Are you looking for a challenge in politics and administration, with an employer with topics as diverse as life? The Planning & Resources (P&R) Department of the General Secretariat provides key services within the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs. These include, among other things, coordination of construction, maintenance and rental projects and support with logistics and infrastructure issues for the approximately 2,400 employees at over 50 locations. We are looking for a project coordinator to complement our construction and logistics team immediately or by arrangement (workload 80-100%, initially limited to 3 years). What tasks await you

• As the central contact and coordination point for the JI management, the construction management and other project participants, you take on the ordering role according to the tenant model in a wide range of projects.
• You advise users on formulating their needs and ensure that the order basis provides a clear project framework and that the construction projects are implemented according to the order.
• You are committed to high-quality project execution as part of project support and project coordination.
• You analyze, specify and document user requirements in order to ensure the development of the necessary planning and decision-making bases.
• Your tasks include coordinating and further developing user-specific real estate needs and ensuring the flow of information between the relevant actors, as well as developing scenarios, basis for decision-making and recommendations for action.
• In addition, there are tasks such as coordinating the needs surveys and requirements planning, participating in construction investment planning as well as checking the area occupancy of the organizational units for the attention of the real estate office and coordinating safety-related matters on the floor. This is what you bring with you
• Master's degree (University/ETH/FH/HF) in construction or a related field as well as previous experience in managing building construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in an administrative context
• Comprehensive experience in handling large and complex construction projects, proven knowledge of building and security technology as well as experience in public or complex organizational structures are an advantage
• Experience or interest in prison construction and security issues
• Experience in project management, especially in quality, cost and schedule controlling
• Strong skills in coordination, analysis and documentation as well as in the development and implementation of specifications and processes
• You are a self-organized, reliable and solution-oriented personality with strong communication and cooperation skills with a focus on the concerns of users.
