The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PUK) is one of the leading psychiatric clinics in Switzerland. With more than 2,500 employees, we are committed to the holistic treatment and care of people with mental illnesses every day. As a university clinic, we combine clinical expertise with research and teaching – in a working environment characterized by interdisciplinary cooperation, trust and personal responsibility. 100% Gastronomy at the Lenggstrasse site includes cuisine, food on the stations and the operation of a self-service restaurant with 190 seats and a summer terrace. In the kitchen, around 1000 meals are produced daily for the care stations and the restaurant. For our kitchen on the Lenggstrasse in Zurich we are looking for an immediately or by appointment: Their tasks
- Pre-production and production of food in all areas of cold kitchen
- Co-creation of a contemporary, diverse and attractive offer
- Instruction and guidance of kitchen staff and apprentices assigned to the post
- Proper handling of food, machinery and apparatus
- Participation in banquets and events
- Collaboration in the team, with the management of the kitchen and nutritional advice
Your profile
- Completed training as a cook / chef EFZ, degree as a vocational trainer/in an advantage
- IT skills and good German skills
- Professional experience from gastronomy or hospitality
- High guest and patient orientation
- Team-ready, capable of conflict and criticism and cooperative
