For an internationally active, renowned climate protection organization, we are looking for a committed and strong personality as a senior accountant. At a central location in the city of Zurich, you can expect a meaningful mission in which you actively shape the future and take over the leadership of a small team in the medium term. This is your job

• Finance & Group: Responsibility for the operating financial accounting of the Swiss company according to OR and management of the Group accounting for the locations in Germany and Austria according to Swiss GAAP FER (including intercompany voting).
• Financial statements & Payroll: Timely preparation of quarterly and annual accounts as well as the independent handling of payroll accounting including the entire social security system.
• Treasury & special tasks: management of treasury management (liquidity planning, cash management, payment transactions) as well as the strategic development and expansion of a specific carbon accounting system (collection, monitoring, annual accounts).
• Processes & Leadership: Continuous optimization of financial processes as well as the targeted professional and personal development of a small team (two employees, one learning person) with a perspective management assumption.
• Interface: Competent contact person for management, authorities and auditors for financially relevant projects.

This is what you bring with you

• Education: higher education in finance and accounting (Federal Diploma, HF or FH).
• Experience: Several years of in-depth professional experience in a comparable function with in-depth knowledge of OR and Swiss GAAP FER as well as practice in consolidation and payroll accounting.
• IT & Tools: Ideally, experience with Abacus and LucaNet (or the willingness to learn quickly) as well as high IT affinity.
• Languages: Very good and stylish communication skills in German and English.
• Personality: A structured, exact and independent way of working characterized by business thinking, commitment and real pleasure in the development of employees and learners.
