Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Vocational Advice Professional, Study and Career Consultant/in 80% The Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as professional counselling. Our work focuses on children, young people and families. We work for them every day with a lot of heart and commitment. The biz Horgen is one of seven vocational information centres in the Canton of Zurich and supports young people and adults in their career choices and careers in the district of Horgen through individual individual consultations, diagnostic clarifications, information events, seminars and the Infothek. We are looking for a professional, study and career consultant 80% by 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

• Your tasks: You advise young people and their parents on the first career choice, work with the high school schools and carry out class and parent orientations as well as school house consultations. In addition to working with young people, you advise adults on career entry and career topics and make potential assessments for integration pre-teaching. As part of the Infothekdienst you provide professional information. The organisation of information events and seminars is also one of your

• Your profile: You bring a completed or advanced federally recognized education in vocational, study and career counselling and preferably a completed psychology study. They have broad consulting expertise with in-depth knowledge of consulting methods, diagnostic tools and the labour market. You are happy to learn new things and also deal with new media. They are very service- and quality-oriented and a reliable, independent and self-responsible working method as well as good organizational and administrative skills distinguish them. They communicate skilfully and conduct events with classes and parents in a skilful and secure manner.
