Do you want to carry out independent checks to ensure that Zurich Switzerland effectively meets external and internal requirements? And do you enjoy preparing results in such a way that management and board of directors immediately understand them?

In this role, you are part of the Compliance business unit in the Governance, Reporting & Assurance team and actively shape the further development of Zurich Switzerland. You carry out risk-based assurance audits on your own responsibility from start to finish. You have a lot of creative freedom and can move something directly. By participating in the development and improvement of various tools and dashboards as well as simplifying existing processes, you drive our innovation. This is what awaits you

• You carry out assurance audits independently – from planning to implementation to completion – using data analytics to make audits efficient and meaningful
• You identify relevant internal and external requirements, derive the essential risks from them and align the examination specifically. You identify possible violations and unfulfilled requirements, define measures and track their implementation
• You create comprehensible reports for management, board of directors, region and group, prepare them for target groups and ensure their quality
• You ensure the quality and compliance with the group framework in terms of compliance assurance activities and common audit standards
• You support the further development of our assurance framework, tools and dashboards as well as the simplification of existing processes

This sets you apart

• successfully completed studies at a (specialist) university or equivalent education
• Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or training as an auditor is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in internal or external audit, ideally in the financial sector
• Experience in the insurance industry is beneficial
• Strong ability to understand regulatory requirements, derive risks and align audits with them
• Very good data analytics capabilities as well as affinity for technologies such as O365, Power Apps and Power BI
• High initiative and commitment, independent and structured working methods, strong team and assertiveness as well as very good knowledge of German and English

Travel activity: up to 10%

Hybrid work: up to 40%
