Job opening at 15. November 2026 or by arrangement

On behalf of the criminal investigation authorities, the Institute of Forensic Medicine examines living and deceased people from a forensic point of view. In any case, to provide clarity – that is what we have set ourselves the goal. In order to achieve this goal for the benefit of society, we take up the latest findings in our field and implement them. The IRM-UZH stands for an innovative institute for legal medicine. We look forward to seeing you! We are looking for 15. November 2026 or by arrangement:e Employee:in reception (60 - 100%, possibility of gradual increase)

Tasks

• Professional operation of the telephone exchange
• Assistance and reception of external guests, customers and suppliers
• Agenda management and maintenance of the address database including evaluations and statistics
• Correspondence in German and English and preparation of letter templates
• Responsibility for a proper and well-kept reception and meeting room
• Responsible for postal mail
• Office supplies and printed matter management services
• Completion of general office and secretarial tasks
• You work in a team with mutual holiday representatives (Mo – Fr, 8:00 – 17:00), which requires a certain time flexibility.

Profile

• Completed vocational training with experience in reception and administration
• Service-oriented, communicative and warm personality
• Safe use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Stylistic German in word and writing as well as strong social skills
• Structured and reliable way of working and enjoying contact with people
• Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude and flexibility
