Participation
- They take over the medical, personnel, strategic and entrepreneurial leadership of Klinik Medizin and bear the overall responsibility for quality, efficiency and sustainable development. The Clinic of Medicine includes: General Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pneumology, Cardiology, Angiology, Endocrinology and Diabetology, Infectiology and Hospital Hygiene, Gastroenterology, Medical Polyclinic, Palliative Care, IPS and the Ambulatorium with the consultation hours
- They ensure high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred and economic patient care.
- They strategically develop the medical services and clinical processes and thus strengthen the positioning of the clinic.
- They promote and develop the medical staff as well as other specialists and shape an attractive, future-oriented education and training.
- They promote close, partnership-based and interprofessional cooperation within the hospital, in particular with the emergency department, the old-age medicine and other specialist areas. You will strengthen joint care concepts, coordinated clinical processes and cooperation at eye level.
- They maintain and develop sustainable, partnership-based networks with primary care physicians, referents and other regional health partners. In this way, you strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation and actively shape integrated regional health care.
- They are themselves clinically active, actively participate in the medical service and thus maintain proximity to patient care and clinical everyday life.
- They live a transparent and empowerment- and values-oriented leadership culture, actively involve the management team in decisions and create an environment in which employees can develop professionally and personally.
- As a member of the Management Board, you take on joint responsibility for the strategic and entrepreneurial development of the entire hospital.
Bring with you
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (FMH) and proven clinical expertise; an additional specialist title, for example in intensive care medicine, is an advantage.
- A habilitation is desired, but not a requirement.
- Several years of leadership experience in a medical cadre function, ideally as a leading physician.
- Proven experience in the care of complex internistic patients and in interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Proven leadership skills as well as experience in organizational and strategy development.
- An integrative leader with a high level of social competence, integrity and a value- and strength-oriented leadership attitude.
- Good knowledge of the Swiss health care system and experience in the Swiss hospital environment.
- A good understanding of regional healthcare as well as the ability to build and maintain sustainable relationships with primary care physicians, referees and other partners.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong understanding of quality and services.
