Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Tax Office Senior Project Manager with experience in line management 100% 100% Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office collects taxes for the Confederation, the canton and the municipalities. We support individuals and businesses throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the Zurich Altstetten site. The coming years in the taxation of the canton are characterized by several important digitalization projects. For the successful implementation, we are further expanding our team in Digital Services and are looking for several senior IT project managers who will promote complex projects together with specialist areas, IT and communities. Tasks

• You will lead challenging and complex digital and IT projects with a high proportion of technology – from the idea to the successful implementation – and ensure compliance with deadlines, budget and quality standards.
• You manage organizational units as part of transition phases (temporary management) if necessary
• You structure requirements together with specialist areas, develop viable concepts and shape initial ideas for concrete project assignments.
• Together with partners from the canton, municipalities, the federal government and the private sector, you will design future-proof IT solution architectures and align them with long-term goals.
• You lead interdisciplinary project teams in a matrix organization and control your projects according to HERMES, supplemented by agile methods where appropriate.
• When it comes down to it, you go into depth, structure complex issues and advance projects operationally. Profile
• You have several years of proven experience in managing complex projects and necessarily also in line management with high earnings responsibility – ideally in large projects with millions of budgets.
• You will have a sound understanding of IT and will be familiar with interfaces, databases and integration architectures.
• You have a university degree (master) in computer science, business, leadership or in a comparable field.
• Advantageously, you have project management certifications such as HERMES, IPMA, Scrum or SAFe or are willing to train yourself accordingly.
• Knowledge of taxation is a plus – or you want to acquire it.
• You have very good knowledge of German and are convincing and confident. You move safely between different stakeholders, make informed decisions and bring entrepreneurial thinking as well as the necessary perseverance to successfully advance complex projects. Offer
