For our B2 ward at the Crisis Intervention Center (KIZ), as of 1 February 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a

At the Crisis Intervention Center, people in acute mental health crises receive inpatient treatment in an open and needs-oriented setting. These may be either crises without a pre-existing mental illness or crisis-like exacerbations of existing mental disorders. In crisis intervention, the crisis, its trigger and coping with the currently difficult situation are at the heart of the intervention. Crisis intervention is neither diagnosis-specific nor tied to a particular psychotherapy method. The stay at the Crisis Intervention Center is time-limited.

Your responsibilities

Flexibility and enjoyment of variety are key aspects. Because that is exactly what working in the KIZ means. The tasks are very varied and are geared toward the individual, needs-oriented treatment of patients.

Here are some of the most important points

• independent and individualized nursing care and support of patients during the night shift
• Supporting patients in crisis situations
• complex psychiatric assessments with planning and implementation of further steps
• Triage duties for the entire clinic during the night shift
• leading handovers
• Organization and implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic orders
• Maintaining nursing documentation and handling various administrative tasks within the ward

At the KIZ, there are two night-duty staff members per shift, which is why you work together with a healthcare professional.

For this position, we are looking for someone who already has experience in psychiatry.
