The Balgrist University Hospital is one of the most renowned orthopedic clinics in Switzerland with an affiliated center for paraplegia and international recognition.We are looking for someone to join our team immediately or by appointment Tasks: In this versatile and exciting role, you will be responsible for the technical service team and the optimal condition and operation of the building and infrastructure: • Personnel and technical management of the technical service (14 employees) • Ensuring smooth and safe building operations • Responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machines • Ensuring and coordinating property maintenance (buildings/surroundings in the clinic area), including all building and operational technology (in the clinic area and outside buildings) • Employee security (building security and fire protection) • Responsibility for handling assigned TD projects (costs, deadlines) • Active participation in budget issues for the cost centers in the area of responsibility of the technical service Requirements: • Completed vocational training in the field of electrical or building technology, supplemented by further technical training at HF/FH level • Several years of experience in technical operations or maintenance, ideally in a hospital environment, as well as a broad understanding of building and operational technology • Experience in operational planning, coordination of maintenance work and handling technical projects • Knowledge of building safety and fire protection as well as a strong awareness of safety and quality • Training as a safety officer or safety officer (SiBe) is an advantage • Leadership experience, ability to work in a team and joy in the further development of employees as well as clear and appreciative communication • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, high service orientation and openness to new challenges • Business fluent knowledge of German (spoken and written), knowledge of English is an advantage We offer: • You have the opportunity to work at a respected university orthopedic clinic with an excellent reputation • Varied leadership tasks in a future-oriented environment with diverse technical challenges in clinical operations • The opportunity to lead and promote a team of 14 employees and to actively shape the processes in the technical service • Close cooperation with the management of technology, security and construction as well as the clinical areas to ensure safe and reliable clinical operations • Enjoy a healthy and balanced lunch at reduced prices in the company's own employee restaurant and free coffee/hot drinks • Travel discount of 50% on the ZVV bonus pass or an annual contribution to a general subscription • Free day off for your birthday • Various shopping discounts Further benefits are just a click away: Attractive offers for our employees
